Why am I constantly playing against Gold, Platinum, and Diamond ranked players in solo queue?
I thought it was supposed to be random but I'm getting matched up against these players every game (no joke) and it kind of sucks. I don't have a rank and I feel like if I DO play ranked I'll go into something like Silver. So why am I playing against these people? I tried looking into MMR in OP.GG but it doesn't show anything because I haven't played ranked.
Any explanations?
deathgod51 votesUnranked is pretty much completely unbalanced. It only places people based on level(1-30, after that it doesn't matter) and maybe places smurfs below level 30 a bit too high.

If you want more balanced games, play ranked. But you will have to deal with the more toxic environment if you do that.
