Hello Riot, I see Irelia buffs on the PBE

Here are my thought on them:

Irelia: Bladesurge (Q) Mana cost reduced to 50/55/60/65/70 from 60/65/70/75/80 Total AD ratio increased to 1.2 from 1.

Irelia doesn't need more value in her Q. Her Q has tons of value as it is right now. What reducing the manacosts of the Q does is to make Irelia more forgiving for misplays, aka: lower her learning curve. Missing a Q or using it greedily in a trade should cost you mana. Instead what could be done is either:

-revert the changes made to her E. Irelia maxes her E in lanes that disadvantage her or against enemies that need to combo a lot of skills. If you want to help Irelia, I believe this could help her in disadvantageous matchups w/o making her oppressive in advantageous matchups (because she maxes W in advantageous matchups & This could also make up for that missing AP on triforce).

-Make Q give back more mana on kill. This has like the proposed E changes the intention of helping her in matchups that disadvantage her. By doing this you're helping Irelia get that CS against an oppressive enemy w/o of wrecking her mana pool as hard. Again this doesn't really benefit her in advantageous matchups as she has enough room in these to safely lasthit with her auto attacks anyways.

I'm only posting this because I don't want the buffs to backfire and result in nerfs to her in other areas. Yes, I'm an Irelia main.

Well, the only way I see nerfs coming (if they ever did) would be a lot of people QQing about her. And right now people are side tracked by the "new" champion.

You mean like the time they nerfed her E? People are quick to QQ about Irelia, that's why I don't want her to become oppressive. Also yay finally someone that doesn't just downvote and moves on!

That's my go to counter if someone picks her :P

Same.

And if someone picks Nasus, I just take Mundo into him.

Honestly I have no answer to Nasus. I always try to make a lot of TP plays when versing a Nasus.

Mundo works quite well in my experience.

  • Mixed damage (he's hard to build against)
  • Great scaling (rivals Nasus)
  • Little reliance on attack speed (most of his damage from Q, W and Sunfire Cape)
  • Very durable (when Nasus can't really build percentage penetration)
  • Good early trades (Q and E with Grasp of the Undying to chunk him for every CS)

Mundo can handle Nasus at pretty much every phase of the game. It is not uncommon for Mundo to first-blood Nasus at level 2.
