Jhin QoL: attack move while reloading => don't walk any closer than your attack range
Normally, when you attack move, you walk towards the target until you're in range, then attack them. If you're already in range, you stand still while attacking them. When Jhin is reloading, however, attack-move works like a normal move command; you'll walk wherever you click.
By default attack move makes you hit whatever enemy champion is closest to the place you click. This makes your normal kiting pattern:
- Attack click near the enemy you'd like to hit.
- Click in the direction you'd like to move in.
- Repeat
This pattern becomes an instinctual habit. This is a problem when you hit your 4th shot:
- Click away from the enemy
- Jhin kites backwards
- Attack click near the enemy (4th shot)
- Jhin attacks them
- Click away from the enemy
- Jhin kites backwards
- Out of habit, Attack click near the enemy (reloading)
- Jhin pretends he's a melee champion and runs right into them.
It's only a fraction of a second before you realize what you did and kite back again, but it's often enough to put you in harm's way; I've died several times because of this.
I propose that attack move while reloading should have the exact same behavior as normal (inability to autoattack notwithstanding):
- If you are out of range, move towards the target.
- If you are in range, stand still.
Now, a misclick still wastes time you could have spent running away, but at least it's no worse than any other champion.
