Zed Jungle- Yes or No?

So I don't own Zed, nor have I ever played the champ.. but I've observed Zed's behavior a lot. Zed is typically, and almost always played Mid. In fact, I've only seen Zed mid, and maybe once go Top when there was miscommunication pre-game. Zed loves utilizing the mid lane bushes for engagements. The stealth allows him a strong initiation, his kit allows him to attack fast and escape virtually unhindered. So, after going over his abilities- I wondered why I never see a Zed jungle. He doesn't need to worry about mana, and he can clear camps with crazy speed. His ganks would be swift and neat.. Soo what is it about Zed that makes nobody use him Jungle?

-Slow clears -Always clears with low hp after a few camps -0 gank presence pre 6

Just pick him mid, he needs a kill or 2 to get rolling. And in the jungle thats not going to happen.

He's better in midlane, he doesn't exactly clear all that healthy, and he has absolutely no CC or real gank threat pre-6.

If u have the urge to play Zed jungle, just play Rengar or Kha'Zix mate..

Because he can't clear camps as fast as you say. He doesn't have any built-in sustain (or pseudo sustain like shields) either. Also, Zed is one of those champions that should snowball early and the jungle is not the best place to do that, especially if the champion wasn't designed to be used there. It can work, but it's a very gimmicky strategy. If you want stealth than pick Shaco or Eve; if you want strong engages there's a lot more champions that can do that; if you don't want to worry yourself over mana, you could pick a manaless jungler (lee sin); if you want fast clear speeds, then you pick that type of champion.

Yet another problem is the fact that zed is a priority ban so you won't have a chance to play him at all.
