@Riot, Just came to the realization that Fiddle doesn't have a "strong" jungle item anymore

The only mage jungler out there (full mage, no auto attacks, and no other way to build him) doesn't even have a good jungler item now. Ruinglaive is so expensive for what little it would give him. Since you don't really auto with Fid, it seems like perhaps, Rito, you should add something extra to Ruinglaive to benefit people who go full mages and jungle? Getting Ruinglaive just felt so wrong since it offers so little for such high gold.

Obviously you'd want to work this so strong AP jungle picks that auto (Ekko) wouldn't get big boosts.

Or maybe even just a new jungler item altogether for AP junglers that don't use autoattacks?

The main reason RIOT gave up on trying to give him an item is because most fiddles(at least ones who play him competitively) would just rush the smite for the extra gold income or not even and then rush Zhonya's. Fiddle doesn't actually need a jungle item, which is why they never bothered anymore.

Rito* but still, I feel like not getting a mage jungle item for SPECIFICALLY AP casters is kinda...lacking.

It is the problem of having mages in the jungle period. It is incredibly hard to make an AP item for mages that isn't too broken/weak on specific champions because mages are very hard to balance in the jungle. If it was easy RIOT would have made it already. Most mages can 100-0 once they hit 6 or get close to it. Being able to safely hit level 6 around the 5 - 7 minutes mark then come out and instantly kill someone isn't really fun or balanced for the other team fighting them as there isn't any real counter.
