What if Urgots Q would apply on-hit effects?
Do you think that it would make him more viable? I'm not a Urgot main, but I think it would be intresting.

Definitely more viable. Is it what he needs? Maybe, maybe not.
I think he would exceel at poking enemies at mid/late game, mostly if he can proc trinity force + muramana + recharge his mana with Essence reaver...
they kinda just need to delete him to save space while downloading the game
I dunno. They completly reworked Sion instead of deleting him.
And sion was in a waaaay worse state than urgot is, so a rework is more likely than deletion.
As for on-hit effects, it would help him deal more damage, but he would still have a pretty derpy design. The biggest thing to change is definitely his ultimate, IMO.
Though, deleting a champion would be also horrible :( minor buffs that help him to be more viable would be great for him instead of giving him a complete new kit.
I dunno, he has additional armor/magic resist on it, so if he would ult the right person of the enemy team, hist team could win a teamfight.
The problem is that he's meant to be a damage dealer, but his ult disables him for the whole channel while dealing zero damage.
I like his kit as a whole, but his ult is just a relic of a time where riot didn't really know what they were doing all the time. I think a new ult that cemented him as a bruiser/marksman would do wonders for making him more viable, and the rest of his kit could remain relatively untouched (besides mana costs, that stuff is just crazy right now).
They deleted Sion and replaced him with an entirely different champ with the same name. I expect similar with an Urgot rework honestly.
This would actually be pretty over-powered. If he were to build similar to gangplank, with IE, Shiv, Triforce, his Q would do just as much damage on auch lower cool down.
They would have to change the scalings of course, but probably would make him more viable than now..
If they were to nerf the AD scaling on his Q for the sake of on-hit effects that would basically amount to a nerf because he'd still need to build Manamune first due to his oppressive mana issues. So basicall he'd be doing less damage early and mid game and would only start doing more damage late.
Isn't that the point of adcs? being weak early game but really strong late game?
Urgot isn't an ADC. He's an AD mage. He relies on his abilities to do damage, not his auto attacks.
but with the apply-on hit effects on his q, it would allow him to actually build essence reaver, making ot a quite strong item on him.
The problem with that is that Essence Reaver's build path does nothing to alleviate Urgot's mana issues until it's actually completed.
i heard they're working on something, a item before essence reaver is finished.. if that item gets live, and if urgot gets ever a onhit buff on his q, then he'd be probably more viable..
Urgot is already strong. its just his champ design that people dont like.
yeah, his Q exceels at poking, mostly if you launch a e on the right enemy, but other than the, he can't do more.
