Season 6 in a nutshell

Everyone is complaining that this season is the worst by far. Marksman are running a muck in lanes other than bot, especially Graves. Xin buffs, and a mini Zed ulty that brings back memories of DFG.

I, personally, am happy with the way league is going. I find it much more entertaining than Season 5 was. It adds diversity into the game. You never know what you're gonna be playing against anymore, and that's what Riot wanted. They didn't want the game to be predictable.

When I first started playing, I took Ashe top and it was amazing, especially since I was new. Then as Season 5 came to an end, I noticed a trend. I could be sitting in the loading screen and depict exactly where everyone is going. You have a tank top, tank or assassin in the jungle, the era of assassin's mid (as a mid mage main, i hated this), then you had your marksman and tanky support in the bot lane (or Soraka if you wanted to make people hate themselves). This became boring as I started playing against the same pool of about 15 champs every game. Now I load in and see 4 marksman and a tank on a team and it makes it interesting.

Yes, I have my bias towards this Season (please don't touch my Vel :c), but it's nothing that wont be realized and fixed by mid-season. When it comes down to it, a lot of the comps that are being played, can easily be countered if you play right. Since 6.3 came out a day ago, I've played against 3 Xin's and none of them were ever a problem. I've played against a Talon with the new Duskblade and I destroyed him in lane.

Not everyone will be made happy by every buff, nerf, or rework that Riot does. Any small change in base stats or scaling can literally make a champion impossible to play, or make it completely broken. It takes time to get these things set.

Basically, we're 2 months into a year long season, stop complaining already. It'll get fixed and things will change halfway through the year.

I think the problem with the patch is less of the champion balance, but just overall balance. Death timers are up. Turrets drop extremely quickly. I have no problem with the champs but at the state the game is in it really leaves very very little room to make a comeback. Which personally was my favorite part of league, win or lose I enjoyed longer games that are more back and forth. I am perfectly fine losing an hour and ten minute game because chances are the game was exteremely balanced and actually game down to skill and team decision making, with a lot of back and forth action and objective battles.

The game right now is extremely snowbally, which is why I think people are cracking down harder on certain champs, because those champs can now snowball the game quickly enough with no room for comeback. Then they blame the champion and not the game itself.

Well that's what Riot set out to do. For me, those hour long games were amazing, but it was almost every game that was that long. Now, if I get an hour long game, its really down to the bone because of how snowbally everyone is. Idk, I still find it fun, but there are some things that need to change. But as said, we're 2 months in, no need to freak out about it now.

Nice to see a fellow Vel main but I'd have to respectfully disagree.
