Why do remakes count as loss in promos?
I was in my promo's to s3, someone didn't connect and we remade, but why did it count as a loss in my promos?

Cuz promos are 1v9 and if you click remake that means you forfeit the 1v9.
Remakes don't typically count as a loss in promos unless you were also marked as an afk.
Make sure you actually play for the first 3 minutes or so even if you see someone disconnected, instead of sitting around waiting for the remake, as afking results in getting marked as afk as well, so the remake does count as a loss.
If you didn't do that, make sure you didn't dodge any champ selects since starting your series, since dodges count as losses in promo series.
Usually it's one of those two things when people feel like they got screwed by remake, but if you're sure neither was the case you could poke support about it, as it shouldnn't have counted as a loss.
Remakes dont count as a loss for Promos unless YOU or someone in your premade team were the reason for the /remake.
Garbage system made by lazy people who live off making skins
I've played a ranked game and the ENEMY TEAM remade and it still counted a loss in my promos, even though i went into lane and farmed. I've contacted rito support but no response yet

I do not think that remake counts as a loss. It has never happenes to me unless i went afk myself. Though, there have been instances where our team decided to play 4 v 5 and not do a remake. And we totally stomped the enemy team. You just have to believe and play the right champs. Anyways, that is beyond the point.
There must have been another factor, remakes do not count as losses.

Something should be done about that. Imagine if you had already played 2 games of that promo & that last one determined if you got promoted or not. Someone forces a remake & you automatically lose your promos, now you gotta get qualified again.
I’ve only gotten wins from remakes. You weren’t also afk were you?
maybe if you didn't let them not connect and assert your dominance you would not have this issue. I always tell me team if they afk I'm telling my mom to get riot to ban them

What I don't get is that they count as placements add all. Feel unfair to have only 9 placements games all of a sudden.
