I will Be the first to say it, Plant's aren't actually that bad.

I gotta admit, I thought that the jungle change was going to be pretty bad, but outside of the wolf spirit and the raptor true sight, I don't really even notice a difference. Plant's aren't all that much of a difference either, I find myself using the vision cone and heal plant a lot in the jungle. I actually kinda like this change, better than I thought it was going to be.

I actually like the plants. I don't understand why a lot of people hated them so much when they haven't even gotten to use them that much.

Now I have to try it!!!! I came to the conclusion that while I play eve, I will go throughout the jungle and pop every vision plant nearby!!! I was watching some livestreamer jungle with the plants, and they made for amazing plays from both the enemy and him. For example, he left a red plant next to enemy red as he tried to steal. He couldn't even hit red when a nid spear flew at him, Nidalee not far behind. He quickly flashed over the wall, hit the red plant, and actually went BEHIND NIDALEE! Nidalee jumped over the pit, thinking that is where he went. He then took red and left. Can't wait to try these out! :D

I don't mind the vision & heal plants, but I think the explosion plants are out of place and just feel awkward.

As a support, the vision one is pretty handy and sucks completely to play against when the enemy plays a champ like Blitz who you definitely don't want to be out of place against.

The Honeyfruit can be pretty touch-and-go in terms of how it feels. The slow will definitely be a bad thing eventually, but it can help more than harm so far as I've seen.

The Blast Cone one is really crappy. There's no dodging how bad it can be on either side of it. You can accidentally (or intentionally) fling an ally to the enemies, you can misclick/misfire yourself in the wrong direction, even with the indicator, you or your opponent can be totally ready to last-hit and that lucky fruit happens to be nearby. It's not really play-friendly.

If I had a suggestion, it would be making the Blast Cone different. Like, imagine a plant that worked more like Bard's portal. How much better would that be? One-way passage through random terrain seems like it has the same knack for gameplay without the denial or random error in judgement. It'd be clearcut that you're using it to go one-way to wherever. And your opponent could follow. And best of all would be it'd be possible to use it as an initiator, the prime bonus of the kn

I do agree but that knock back plant is a bit overkill in the jungle. Remove that and I'm fine with the rest.

I have to agree

Plants are unneccessary, just change for the sake of change. The old system was good and can't create so many shit situations like Darius hopping over a wall and hooking you or a mobile champ like Ahri dashing a major distance. Aside from the obvious free flash in a chase situation. RNG or not they do add extra luck into the game. Outside of maybe pro play who will plan around them and not just exploit them through being in the right place at the right time?

Yuumi or Lose11/12/2016, 7:49:31 PM2 votes

When I saw the plants added on, I didn't care. A lot of people here bitched about it but never really tried it out.

Hell, all the pro players I've seen stream say plants aren't even a big deal and didn't mind it. If anything, they add a lot more interaction and is actually fun.

i escaped a situation with Garen by using 2 blast cones to get away from Talon where I should have been Garen teed dead. one blast cone by red to put distance, then another to jump over baron wall and get away free

these plants should be cut from the game. felt like i was cheating lol

The first time I used a blast plant, I accidentally clicked on it, got blown away and laughed my ass off. It seriously caught me off guard.

Epicanian11/13/2016, 3:33:19 AM1 votes

I don't think they're gonna ruin the game or anything, I just think they feel like unnecessary gimmicks

Dracocrash11/11/2016, 7:58:27 PM1 votes

I hate them simply because , RNG.

MIght as well make blue buff and red buff spawn on random locations on the map right?

Meep Man11/12/2016, 4:37:01 AM1 votes

Hey, what I thought would happen came true. People were filled with hate about them, the patch rolled out and, woah, people DON'T hate the new jungle plants because they don't have too much of an impact outside of Blast Cone plays.

Existential Bard11/12/2016, 5:50:50 AM1 votes

The only plant I have an issue with is the bomb plant. I haven't mastered attacking it in quick situations.

Overlord Forte11/12/2016, 7:58:37 AM1 votes

The scrying plant is going to be game warping in competitive settings, to the point it may get some pretty stiff/consecutive nerfs to it. The information it gives you is incredible.

Cryo0011/12/2016, 8:32:42 AM1 votes

So far, the vision one has been the most useful. The blast one and the healing one are just there.

QaznGod11/12/2016, 9:56:58 AM1 votes

The vision and healing plant are fine. But the blast cone is too random and rewarding. You shouldn't get some random way of escaping death outside of your own kit

Monkey D Luffy11/12/2016, 11:56:59 AM1 votes

Lol you think you're the first to say it...?

gekyùme11/12/2016, 11:16:23 PM1 votes

plants are whatever, but I see people trolling with the scryer's bloom plant. in other words, shooting the plant towards their base and not at where the enemy was last spotted.
