A question about how much LP I get

So, as I know, being in losing streak reduces your MMR and the LP you gain, however, I've been in winning streak this week, lost very few games in many and many I won, yet, when I win, I still get 16 and 17 LP, is it because I am duoing with a silver 5 and I am silver 4?
