Not in the playmaking sense, but in the "wtf is this" champion. He's so simple that I can't help but laugh at the things he does.

I'm glad he's getting a rework. Sadly he'll lose his funny ult, but I bet he's gonna be fun.

Hey, they might keep how his ult works theme-wise. They tend to keep iconic parts of the champions they rework.

From what I can tell from all the red posts I've read about it(and I believe I've read all if not most) and the old iced rework for him, it will become a pounce skillshot. There is a possibility it will have cooldown reduction if missed(although rather unlikely). Also it would be changed from a suppress to a stun.

They said it will be a complete different rework as the team that is doing it it's entirely different than before.

Also that rework was done without having in mind new visuals, wich now he has.

Also, I strongly think the most iconic part of him it's his "hunt wounded targets" theme instead of his suppression. :)

Actually, they had said they might take a few things here and there from it, but overall it should be vastly different, not in the sense that they are trying to stay clear of it, but that they are more or less starting the ideas from scratch with a completely different team.

Yeah, that's it. But a lot of people here it's thinking that it's almost the same rework that got iceboxed long ago.

Based on other hints about it, it would seem the general concepts for much of it will be kept. Such as a fear, lower q mana cost, AP scaling, make ultimate less bs, get rid of current w, keep e as a passive somewhere, make new w into a pre 6 gank tool.

The only two things that i think they will do of the ones you listed are a new W and his E passive somewhere (while different).

In fact i think every one of his habilities will be different. Not a taric-like rework but more like Sion-like.

They specifically said a taric-like rework in a a twitch stream last month though.

Well that's probably because they think a Taric level or Sion/Poppy level rework it's the same. Reav3 already stated it's a Taric-Poppy level I think (and i think Poppy changed by far more than Taric, but by them they are at the same level of work).

The next level would be a Gangplank level probably.
