How to make Lee Sin balanced without taking away his LC$BIGPLAY$

Right now, Lee Sin is basically a tanky assassin jungler. (Not gonna go into the tank jungler assassin carry mage support whatever thing, in reality he's just a tanky assassin jungler and not a mage or a carry or anything like that.)

How to balance him is to choose. Do you want Lee to be a tank or an assassin?

To make him a tank, reduce (gut) his AD ratios on all his skills, give him a stronger shield on his W, replace his lifesteal and spell vamp on W2 with armor and magic resist, and give him back his Attack Speed slow on his E (but reduce the movement speed slow).

This change would make him a flashy disruptive tank who can protect his allies, but it would remove his high damage abilities and prevent him from assassinating anyone. He'll initiate by going into the enemy team with Q, hitting his E to slow them, and using R to separate or disrupt the enemy team. He'll have his W to give a shield to his ally as well to protect his team (which is what a good tank does).

To make him an assassin, take away the shield entirely on his W (for every use, not just on wards), remove his spell vamp, reduce his base damages but increase his AD ratios on his skills, and reduce the knockup duration on his R for champions that get an ally kicked into them.

This change would make him a flashy assassin who dives the enemy back line, assassinates the carry, and ally jumps to his own tank to get back to his team. By taking away his base damages and making his abilities only get strong if he builds a lot of AD, he can't build tanky enough to survive misplays or he won't deal much damage.

Step one: Realize Lee Sin is balanced and you have nothing legitimate to complain about

Step two: Re-evaluate your life-decisions

Step three: Achieve nirvana

Or how about instead you stop being an idiot and learn that Lee Sin is actually the most balanced Jungler in the game right now and isnt even in the top 3 most contested jungler picks right now.

Because being the king of junglers for like 3 seasons makes him balanced

Lee Sin is the Orianna of the jungle. A strong generalist pick that gets the job done, but never as reliable or easy to play or as the current FotMs.

Considering how we used to have Cait in 40% of the games a while back, 24.6% with the current state of the jungle is surprisingly low. If anything, he's the most common non-banned jungler. He ranks 6th overall for pick+ban rate at ~28%. For the sake of comparison, Vi and J4 have 88% and 82% pick+ban rates respectively.

"Overpowered" champions get banned. Strong picks get played.

Because the current monsters of the jungle are all either banned away or picked immediately. Lee Sin is the Jungler you fall back on if the other big super meta op picks are already taken.

Lee Sin has been that way because hes such a well rounded pick. Hes extremely versatile and doesnt really have any super strong counters other then he falls off really hard late game. Hes a really solid pick thats why. He doesnt offer as much as say the current big four Jungle picks who are the current kings of the jungle. Rek'Sai, Vi, Jarven, and Nidalee are all currently the top junglers. Lee Sin is the fall back champ you pick if those four have all been banned/picked away.

There's nothing wrong with a champion having multiple identities in a game. Kayle is technically a Fighter Support, lol wat? Honestly, it's not Lee's Ad ratios or whatever that need to change.

He needs to be turned into one of the filthy mana users that he despises so much. Giving him a resource will balance him.

His entire kit revolves around being able to spam his abilities and double cast them. On top of that his passive is entirely built around this feature. Giving him Mana would literally kill him.

Neither of those fit Lee sin's fantasy. A martial Artist does not really strike the ideal of a lethal killer. (considering his monkhood was meant to be a form of repentance) But neither should he soak up damage, while harrying the enemies.

Really a monk would strike you more of a light fighter. relying on his Mobility to prevent damage while dealing More DPS than burst damage.

maybe tone back his burst damage, that would have made him an Assassin.

What no it wont? His entire kit revolves around being able to spam and constantly use his abilities. Giving him Mana would literally kill him as a champ. Are you retarded?

Can you Read? I don't believe I said anything about mana.
