Just allow 
the upgraded, max-tier versions to bypass the quest for wards entirely. That way people can have vision when they need it, at most points in the game, instead of only at 10+min when the game's already done for.

It's price could be increased to compensate, and it's stats buffed slightly to compensate as well; If it cost 1.5k gold, no-one but the support would buy it if it has support stats.

Means you're nerfing Support role even further by adding more price to it & stats buffed means solo laners can take advantage of it again.

Not really. Not if it's stats are sub-par compared to every other item on offer. If people in solo lanes want to buy it because of a vision deficit, it'd probably be fine because that brings a degree of strategy back to something that's otherwise based on twitch reflexes like CS:GO.
emarythomp21 votesYep and go back to a time in LCS where fog of war didn't exist. Besides you guys don't have to do much to get it. Literally just last hit, attack the enemy, or grab little coins off the ground.
