I can't wait for the Assassin rework. I hope Shaco gets buffed.

Tristana is not good right now, agreed. Shaco will never be competitive in his current state because teamwork > Shaco.

Did you know that Titanic Hydra's clone proc also procs the damage from Shaco as well? Sort of ridiculous. Duskblade proccing off clone is also nice, but items should not be seen as a "fix", you know? Especially if that fix still doesn't work half the time.

He's been steady for more than a season and has near perfect balance right now. He has strengths, falls off late game with his normal build, supports multiple ways to play him, and has just enough mechanical outplay in his kit to separate skills of specific players.

And he's not my main, he's my "off" main.

But compared to other champions, he's shit. That's the thing. You can't compare him to what things should be, you need to compare him to what things are. Mobility creep + Other assassins doing it better = Shaco is far behind the others.

All his strengths are great, but what's the point of listing his strengths if he's still weaker than other assassins? Bring his strengths to a higher degree, and then we can talk.

AP duration scaling(a lot tinier than the other) on Q invisibilty? That might be too good.

A health system on W, for starters. A shorter arm time (so they're useful in ganks). Failing this, allow Shaco to cast W from stealth without breaking stealth again. This would solve the arm time issue. Fixing all his bugs (especially the one where your ult can't be controlled if you're CC'd the moment you use the ult), give it Tibbesr AI, give W an AD ratio or give E a better AD ratio or make Q useful before level 4, allow Shaco clone to mimic Shaco's abilities, remove the bright orange cloud from the fog of war to allow him non-impossible ganking in higher ELO...

There are a ton of tiny things Riot can do to make him stand on-par with other assassin champions. Don't implement all of these, that would probably break him, but do something. He needs to stand on his own as a good pick over someone like Zed, Talon, Kha, or Rengar aside from "Well, he can split-push and kill people if they don't have a ping ward or a dash."

I'd argue that his early ganks are better than other assassin champs that jungle.

Kha does it better, he has more early-game damage than Shaco and Rengar has access to a snare and just as much damage. Nid is in a whole other ball park.

I think they should just remove the ability to see his q puff if they don't have vision of him. that would be a nice QoL buff that wouldn't break him. Much more though, and he might actually be a bit oppressive.

I would be very pleased if they did this. Would do a lot for him, honestly. Or maybe make it so that you can see the puff in the fog 2 seconds after you lose vision of him so you know he deceived over a wall while running or something.
