I was really excited for this item but ended up being disappointed in it. The stats and passive sound good but when I actually tried it out, it ended up feeling underwhelming. The most noticeable thing I felt was the lack of damage when getting this item. The active just doesn't make up for the lack of damage when compared to other AP items making it feel like a waste of an item slot. The CDR is nice but I rather/can get it from other items that are more useful. Unless you can fully utilize everything this item has to offer(Vladimir?) I would rather pass it up for other items. IMO unless it gets a buff it, I'm just gonna classify it as gimmicky. What does everyone else think?

Well, considering you're getting a dash, of course you're going to be given less damage output than a non-dash item.

The item seems fare more suited for someone who can use the mobility for an engage, but not to use the mobility itself (like Annie).

If they truly are underwhelming, then they should be seeing some touch up in coming up patches.

Of course it's useless. Dash is pathetic, firebolt damage is pathetic, stats are not slot efficient at all.

It's only upside is that it's cheap. The only reason to buy it is that you are fed AF and want to catch more people. But than again, you can do it with spooky.

Point-blank use of this item = quite a burst [220% of 150 + 35% AP; at 300 AP (so think 4th item), it will hit for 660 pre mitigation]. Don't use the dash to gap-close; gap-close and then use the dash to move through the champion (positioning, all bolts hit your target, and then multiple AAs; also moves you closer if they flash over you).

Its like Ashe's Volley, or if you played GW2, Guardian's Whirling Wrath.

AP Bruisers with a gap-closer will love this (Top Lane/Jungle Fizz Diana Ekko Udyr w.e else)
