WHY IS EVERYONE BUYING ESSENZ REAVER ON ASHE!?

at first it was a rare thing to see. but now i see it like 24/7. whenever there is an ashe she gets ER. and usually as first item. may i ask why? i asked everyone of the ashe players and none gave me a legit reason.

sure 75 ad is really awesome but 300 mana? i never had mana problems on ashe unless i spam w blindly on everything that moves. 20% cdr? sounds nice, but its not that important. the passive? same reason for the cdr. why would you need to reset your basic spells? your q is activated so ER passive is useless on that. your w is, in mid/lategame a dps lose when you could just aa/q. your e is not a combat spell. and your ult is better the longer it flies (longer stun)

so besides 75 ad (which you can also get from ie, bt, DEATHS DANCE) this item has no synergie on ashe. like legit 0.

on aram i dare to say "ok you will most likely spam w as its good to poke" so in that case i can say ok. but other than that? please tell me why every ashe i see buys ER i dont get it.

While i see the occasional random R flying down a lane, most use it close range as an interuption more than a stun.

She gets a passive 50% attack speed from doing this, so mixed with Lethal Tempo and the reaver, which gives the 75 attack, and reduced cooldown on R, and they can spam their W which is usually their maxed first skill. And with a 1:1 attack damage ratio, there isnt much wonder why.

She also gains damage from the attack speed boost anyways, so she then pumps out a ton of damage in a shorter amount of time vs squishy targets.

I don't know. I personally buy it on Jinx and Lucian but that makes more sense than Ashe.

Sure 75 attack damage is really awesome but 300 mana? I never had mana problems on Ashe unless i spam Volley blindly on everything that moves. 20% cooldown reduction? Sounds nice, but its not that important. The passive? Same reason for the cooldown reduction. Why would you need to reset your basic spells? Your Focus is activated so Essence Reaver passive is useless on that. Your Volley in mid/lategame is a damage per second lose when you could just Auto attack or use Focus. Your owl is not a combat spell and your ultimate is better the longer it flies (longer stun).

So besides 75 attack damage (which you can also get from Infinity Edge, Bloodthurster , Death Dance), this item has no synergy on Ashe.

On aram I dare to say "Ok you will most likely spam Volley as its good to poke" so in that case i can say ok, but other than that? Please tell me why every Ashe I see buys Essence Reaver . I don't get it.

I don't know honestly, I see this a lot too. Maybe they didn't see the ER rework and still think it's core on Ashe ? Here I rush botrk and runaan asap and then go for a standard crit build
