The Existence of elo hell
I have played 5 ranked games today. In four, there were either ragers who fed, or afkers. Don't bring up the statistical argument that if theres one noob who feeds or afks or is awful in each game then only 46% of the time should your team have it, unless it's you. By that logic it is possible to be unlucky enough, to beat the statistical odds, to be matched, every time, with the feeder or afker. Which is what happened to me. In two games it was the same person. They stayed with me, because of the elo system. They were matched with me a second time to feed and ruin another game. They were toxic, accused us of sexual harassment, and were literally 0/X/0 for a score, where X is solvable by the length of the game divided by the quantity of death timer and the amount of time to walk back to lane. Thats basically how bad this Sivir was, in both games. In two of the other games a person afked. The mid lane afked in both. So the enemy team sent three there and quickly dropped a tower, then another, and with only four people we could not stop them from doing that by force, nor were we able to pressure other objectives enough since we were under manned. People say if i were good i could carry out of Bronze. This situation just today put me back in b5, i was at 50 lp in b4. Last season i hovered around the middle of silver, but i was placed in bronze with this seasons provisionals. And i can't get back to it. And i do have some bad games, where i mess up and don't do too well, but never as bad as some of these people. How do i carry when, and this was the first game today, I'm xin, ganking top at about 5 min, when bot gets double killed and the enemy jungler shows up and they drop the tower, then bot continues to get shat on so hard that i have to go to help. because they're about to push in the 2nd turret at 7 min. So i go to a losing lane as a jungler... and you probably know the rest. How is it that you can say elo hell doesn't exist? Tl:dr, elo hell exists. This isn't a rant, this is evidence.
