Erockandroll1 votesFrankly, I don't even know what these bugs ever are. I can only assume their game breaking or debilitating. Otherwise, there would be no reasons to disable them until the fix.
We don't even know what the fix entails. Perhaps the bug is elusive, and Riot isn't even sure where the bug even is. Or perhaps the fix introduced even more bugs. (which tend to happen in programming.) So they end up needing to Thoroughly test the fix. (Which would mean it would take a patch cycle to fix.)
