What would happen if Jarvan's ulti "grounded" champions
All champions inside Jarvan's pit are -grounded-
This includes both allied champions and enemy champions. :0

They would have to significantly nerf him to allow for that change
He would basically be 
with burst, and broken.
He would be a better (assuming you aren't dumb and ult your own team) Camille.
he'd probably never see play again in pro and high elo because he#d be the first champ to reach 200% ban...
That would remove all counterplay from him. The only way to get out of his ult is through movement abilities / summoner spells, which the grounded effect restricts.
