Wouldn't it make sense to make it so Support item can only be bought by Support by having or

Because we know right now Top lane and Jungler like Ivern love taking Support item

Because we know in Competitive play Top lane will always take and Jungler will always take

If so this won't allow them to buy Support item even if they wanted to

And even if mid do take or It wouldn't make sense for them to buy support item

But also because Riot focus so much on making more Champion and trying to balance their stupid Champion that will never be balance

Because as soon as Riot nerf this Champion these other Champion then becomes the OP one, and as soon as Riot tries to Buff them again they become OP again

If Riot categorize the game item into specific roles, we wouldn't see everyone having QSS like in the CLG game, or everyone having a ZZrot build into their lane, etc

The thing is, people can swap roles in champ select and there's no way to determine that.

Also, Ivern is literally made to be a support-style jungle. There are definite drawbacks to normal laners buying support items.

Even if they do switch role, they will have to switch summoners spell

But I don't blame you for thinking that way tho, cus that kinda how all Bronze players are

they all have the same thinking to themselves thats why they can't get out of Bronze

Mid can take summoner 21 summoner 1 summoner 3 summoner 6 summoner 7 summoner 12 and summoner 4 . By far and away the most flexible as far as Sum Spells.
