Orb of Winter feels worse now

isn't that good anymore, not that it was great to begin with. I used to get it in ARAM from time to time, but it's a little harder to justify the item as you don't get any HP from it and its health regen was nerfed (and aram penalizes health regen). The shield falls off as the game goes on as well. It also has a bad item build as it requires 4 cheap items that clog up your slots.

I really think riot should give this item a bit of a buff and maybe put it on SR where we need another MR item.

This would be perfect on SR. It's a fantastic mid game MR item for soraka

Orb of Winter? It feels incredible to me. I honestly have a hard time itemizing in ARAM because OoW is too difficult to pass up and it leaves me running a low HP build due to the lack of a specters cowl

ARAM doesn't penalize health regen, it actually buffs it to my knowledge. The only healing that's nerfed in ARAM is when you heal your teammates with a spell (like Soraka/Sona/Nidalee/Alistar)

Actually, ARAM doesn't penalize self-heals and regen anymore. Only heals on allies are mitigated. Its regen value is actually stronger on some champions than it was before the changes (on a level 18 Heimerdinger, it's more than twice as strong as before).
