He's a stupid proof champion that's hard to lose with. Same goes for champions like Janna, Kayle, and Annie. They'll almost always be good no matter what Riot does to them.

Amumu is a reliable champion with great teamfight initiation and who scales into the late-game. As such, he tends to dominate low ELOs who constantly misposition, imappropriately group and don't know how to deny him.
