Is there a reason people play Ranked high / drunk?

I mean, I've played normals drunk, I know how fun it is.

But please stay out of ranked if your decision making is impaired in any way.

I just played a game as Lux top lane. I picked for support. First I said 'Supp pref'. When the person picking below me chose Thresh, I told him I'm support. He locked in, and Wukong graciously took smite to jungle for us. I whispered to my friend that I was forced to play Lux top because the Thresh locked support (I accidentally posted this in /all chat. I do this a lot because typing /r is hard). I even told my team that my guess was Thresh didn't trust a Lux support could play well and decided to kick me out of support. (Would not be the first time) Mid-game he says the first thing he's said the entire time: 'Yeah, that's my ADC!' when Jinx got a double kill, and I tell him 'Oh, so he does speak! But still won't explain why he kicked me out of support.'

In the end score screen I asked him a final time if he would explain why he locked Thresh. His response was that he was high af and honestly didn't see it.

Considering all the times I tried to get his attention, I find it hard to believe he really didn't see that I was support.

But if it is true, my point stands. **Do not play ranked if you are high or drunk and your decision making is impaired. Please go play normals, you're just frustrating the rest of your team. **

I feel the problem with this post is that the people who are high or drunk are busy playing ranked right now, so it won't reach them :(.
