Done With League for a While.

Yes, this is a salt post. I do not care if you "do not want another Dynamic QQ post". I love this game and it has been doing nothing but making it difficult to play it. I do not need to tell anyone I am quitting, but I want to. I want to vent a little bit and this is the best place to do so.

I main support. I choose fill because I want to usually get support but also play other roles from time to time. Not now, now it is only 99% support. If I ever want anything but support I cannot choose support. This is a flaw with the system: one I have been waiting to be fixed, one people knew would be a problem when Dynamic Que started, one that still exists.

I want to play by myself. I have been told to "Get friends", as if the problem is that I am some recluse, but that is not how I enjoy League. I do not want to worry about setting up with other people or scheduling my video game around other people. I want to log on and play a few games when possible, I want to play when I want to play in the manner I want to play.

I want to become better, learn the game, and improve my rank. I do not want to play in games largely decided by whose team has the better pre-made group. I do not want to win a game because the other 4 people on my team can communicate and coordinate better than my enemies. I do not want to lose games because a 3-4 man pre-made wants to just 'have fun' in ranked, and I do not want to win because of it either. I disliked the effects Duo Que had on ranked when it was an option and Dynamic Que is exponentially worse.

Will I stop playing League forever because of this? Not likely. I enjoy this game and the E-sports side of the game. I might be back after a few weeks, months, or years.

Do I think Riot is bad or evil or whatever for doing this? No, I think their choices are harmful to parts of the playerbase. Of which I am a part of.

The main reason it is almost always is support is not because of Dynamic Queue- Any person who thinks DQ caused these queue times needs a reality check. It's the fact that nearly no one wants to play the back up role. Toxic ADCs, generally stuck warding, doing support-y stuff that doesn't interest many people. This was also a major problem with Team Builder, and if Solo queue was introduced, this would be an even bigger problem.

I play by myself and have plenty of fun.

About the "pre-made always being superior", well you aren't wrong. However, isn't that just it- the team with the most superior coordination comes out on top most of the time? Doesn't matter whether it's premade or not, the team with the most coordination typically wins.

After 4 years of religiously playing this game, it makes me sad to say I'm leaving too. Until Riot fixes some of the glaring balance and gameplay issues, such as absurdly long respawn timers, I'm not coming back in the same way. Sure, I may come along when URF is here for the weekend or if a friend is in the mood, but otherwise I will certainly not.

Just as you said, and others have said, I've said it multiple times here as well

Before DQ, i was a part time support player. I would play wherever my team needed me if i was lower on the pick order, except for ADC cus I'm god awful on it. I never started the que with the INTENTION of supporting, but i would support if needed.

I'll say it again, i never went INTO QUE wanting to support

Now, if you pick support, you are saying I am going to support this game, and i just don't want to do that. I'd much rather play Mid or jungle because those are my preferred roles and roles i feel i can make the biggest impact for my team. I have been taken out of the potential pool of people willing to play support, all because i don't want to be forced into playing support when i start up the que

I had no problems playing support in the old system when it was given to me because i was a lower pick, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to go into a que with the intention of supporting

and i know i'm not the only person that had this mentality

i am with you man, i stopped playing league since they changed the way i could enjoy my favorite game. thank you for sharing this by the way. yes its harmful to a part of the community and what i hate the most is the kind of peoples who will say good bye we don't need you and stuff like this ... well at least i know that one day they will wake up log in league and they will queue up its gonna take more than 45minutes to find a game have poor experience.
