Petition to implement Required minimal mastery with a champion to play ranked.
during the preseason, it should be well long enough from when mastery arrived to implement a system for only playing mastered champs in ranked.

What about me? I've played all the champions over my years of playing. I've had individual periods of maining every role and have a few games played with all champions. Just because i haven't played say aatrox much since champion mastery was released doesn't mean i don't know how to play him.
No, and down voted because the idea is horrible. Just because I don't have games on one account doesn't mean I haven't played the hell out of a champion on another one.
That's ignoring the fact that there is nothing wrong with first timing a champ in ranked to begin with. If that is their habit, their mmr will reflect that and they will be grouped with people who have similar mmr who do equally stupid shit like face checking bushes when enemy team is all MIA.
You need to have, at the bare minimum, 16 champions to play ranked. 16. Getting rank 5 mastery (which is currently the highest as I'm going to assume that's what you mean by 'mastered') on a single champion can take up to a week or more of frequent focused play of that one champion and that's being generous. 16 weeks worth of nose to the grindstone training just to be able to qualify to play ranked?
That's four months, you're out of your mind.
Riot must have individual champion numbers for each account stored somewhere and this could be used for longtime players, but new players going forward should absolutely be subjected to this. Rank 4 for new players (like, hit 30 within the last year or so) and rank 3 or equivalent for accounts older than that should be a minimum.
There's no mechanism in place to ban idiots who first time champs in ranked and there absolutely should be. Ranked is not for fucking around in; if you aren't willing to prepare to play your best I don't want you dragging down my team, end of story.
This Idea might be a good and working system for all the new players, but it really would upset the league veterans which are able to play nearly every champion in the game to certain level and get their strenght from a huge pool of possible picks!
Me for example: DuoQed this whole season with a friend of mine who plays JGL => I have not single usefull jungler even near Lvl3. So what do I do when I end up jungling... "WHOOOOPS sorry bois it´s Teemo-Jgl today, I´m not allowed to pick Panth, Lee or Kayle.."
Or even worse ADC: Alot of people hate the ADC role, including my selfe, following your idea would ultimately lead to ADC-Ahri because when I have to ADC I usually swap my champs because I´m getting bored when I have to play the same ADC twice a week!
Not even counting the amount of counterpicks you´ll loose...
So, NO just NO no no no no no! So many reasons why this is a terrible Idea!!!
