It is true going off his build he was not taking the support role seriously. I'm going to guess he was auto filled?

But as mentioned, it's not bannable, merely unfortunate. You are free to report them after and it may eventually add up if they do enough things Riot finds punishable.

Big thing is to not dwell on this. Being upset is natural, but so is shaking it off. No one likes staying tilted, and in your current state you likely could be which would help no one including yourself.

If a support not building a sightstone or buying support items is REALLY that big of a deal for you: Here are your only two Real Options going forward:

Play support yourself and build sightstone and other support items and BE the CHANGE you want to see (IF YOU ARE THE SUPPORT and doing the correct thing, NO ONE else CAN SUPPORT and troll the support role because you took it)
Get over it, suck it up buttercup, Deal with it each and every 1 out of 20 games you have to deal with it. report them after

i did report him for it as i see his history is him doing it over and over going scores with 15-20 deaths each game.

sightstone is vital to supports. its incredibly useful and can turn games around.

im not going to support just to do what the role asks of me because some moron on my team cant be trusted to do something right

I build sightstone no matter who i play as support, and this thread isn't about me, it is about you and your complaint thread. I own my flaws... you're the one lets out silent but deadly gas, then says, well " whoever smelled it must've dealt it".

But since we are discussing sightstones.... THE WHOLE REASON RIOT came out with TRINKETS was so that supports like the ONE YOU ARE REFERRING to, didnt have to buy them if they didnt want to... SO UTILIZE THE Trinkets, and get over it. Because since RIOT released trinkets VISION is WAY better even WITHOUT them, than it was 3-4 years ago... RIOT already fixed this issue, with the release of trinkets, which is exactly why YOUR complaint is going to get you no where. And he (the blitzcrank in question) will never see a punishment regarding this issue.

I wish sometimes, that the things you people come on here to complain about, you had experienced when it REALLY was an issue.

If you had played with that same player 3-4 years ago and he didn't build a sightstone, you would know what a real map without vision felt like. IF YOU DID, then count your blessings that you aren't in the dark ages anymore, and get over the sightstone issue.

Not really true. They did it to encourage other players besides support to ward, not to give "supports" an excuse not to buy sightstone. Vision is still part of the support gig, but it is the team's responsibility to establish vision on the map.

I remember back then. Things are far better on the vision end of things. As a support main I expect my team to continually use their trinkets just like I expect myself to buy sightstone and switch to sweeper to deny enemy vision.

Not saying I agree with not buying a sightstone... I personally buy them. Because I too value vision. However, if you are wanting to attack supports who dont buy them, and looking for back up from RIOT, Im just saying, its not gonna happen. There was a follow up later on dealing directly with their breakdown of warding and why they got rid of green wards. It was there they discussed it and what I was referring to.

Regardless, you'll be hard pressed to find supports not buying sightstone and switching to sweeper in competitive play as well as high elo. In your elo it's hit and miss if the support even has the slightest clue what they're suppose to be doing.

You'll note the naysayers on here about sightstone have rarely if ever been anyone higher than gold, and typically ones that don't even main support to begin with.

It's less about Riot backing the idea and more about common sense. Going into a dark map, or worse yet, a well warded enemy territory is pure folly. Too many in low elo treat Summoner's Rift like a glorrified aram.
