though the former are AA based, they don't feel nearly as satisfying compared to the burstiness of the latter. additionally, the former aren't as rewarding as the latter

Problem is, 3 of them are in the current meta and at least 2 aren't.
I've seen Ashes do alright, but I haven't seen many Kogs or Trists and when I do they have a rough time.
