Potential solution to the damage problem
Nerf everyone. EVERYONE. All damage abilities, base stats, runes. If it deals damage, nerf it. This may not be the best solution out there, but I feel like it would probably do more good for the game than just touching on items and individual problem children here and there. Tanks would be able to wade into fights and not get two shot, adcs wouldn't just pop squishies, and I feel like the game would be potentially less frustrating overall. If you get caught out you die right now. No middle ground. If your lee sin is as blind to the minimap in game as he is in lore then you literally have one less teamate, which means the enemy team can force and win a baron fight and just push to win.
This solution would have problems with it and would be a lot of work for a vast change, I know. However, I still feel like it's a potential fix to how much damage there is in the game right now. Instead of just moving from one problem to the next every other patch and also buffing people's numbers simultaneously to create new problems as we go on, why not just do a wide-sweeping change that more or less puts everyone on an even playing field and balance from there. I'm just tired of feeling like some fights can be over in 2 seconds before you had a chance to even do anything useful or even get there.
Also, if you disagree, don't just say it's a shit idea, say what your idea is. Try to make this more useful than the usual sausage slapping that makes rito avoid the boards like the plague.
