Why don't more support build Zeke's Herald? In total you're giving surrounding allies (assuming AoE shield or heal) 50 on hit damage, plus a massive lifesteal boost. It makes you tankier, and you get to spam out your heal/shield fater for more censor procs. I feel like the two items were made for each other and am frankly surprised I'm the only person I've seen build the item in years (To be fair though, I've only tried it 4 times, each on Sona and I ended up doing really well each time)

If I get Zeke's, I get it towards the end. Generally, I find that I need other items sooner.

You would honestly be the only person I've seen build it since pre season 3 or the end of season 2, but I'm glad someone else remembers it's in the game. And when I do it on my utility sona I usually buy Frost blade-Sightstone-Censor-Zeke's if I'm ahead or a randuin's or locket then zeke's if I'm behind. And no matter how well I do all game my teams always say I'm troll for building a worthless item.

I chose it because we have two ranged ADs, we were getting kills but were slow with push (they were always close to our base when we got kills), and I wasn't being targeted in team fights so I didn't need tankiness. I think the problem with Zeke's is that it's a very niche item and good in only a few circumstances. Back when there were more aura items, I used to build all of them lol.
