All The Indirect Zilean Nerfs Are Adding Up :(

I am currently in plat and as a 1 trick Zilean (over 300 ranked games) (support) main I am having trouble with the new item changes. The coin rework was a nerf to Zilean since it's not as safe as the old coin and Zilean isn't the most impressive support in laning phase opposed to most of the cast. Now that redemption and locket aren't viable choices for him I'm not sure if Zilean is even worth playing as support since he most other supports are in general better at what they do (heals, damage, ect). I played Zilean as a utility sup and almost never built damage since Zyra, Brand, or Velkoz destroy Zilean in the damage department and Zilean can't compete against the healers at their own game. I no longer can build redemption, locket, and I can't even build banner of command since they removed the mana on that item which is key for Zilean (mana and cdr is key). GLP and frozen heart seem to be the only viable utility items on Zilean now however other supports are just so much better with the new changes and Zilean doesn't scale well with any of the items now. I don't know what to do at this point. Zilean is the only champion I really have fun with and I can't play him since healers are so strong and the damage Zilean build is bad compared to other damage supports that do a better job. I just hope riot adds more support items to complement unique/strange champion kits such as Zileans to give him a chance. Sorry for the venting I'm just really sad my champ has very few items that complement him as a support
