Awesome List, but i'll ask if Gnar is a vanguard because he is 2, 1 phase is ranged and 1 phase is tank

Thank you, for Gnar i should have written {Mega Gnar only} because you are right he has 2 phases 1 marksman and the other is melee and that other version of him is the mega gnar it is a vanguard form of gnar. Thanks for the feedback

Shyvana is a juggernaut bro, not a Vanguard. Volibear and Skarner are also juggernauts.

yes thanks for feedback, it was incomplete and in Editing, i put Shyvana in Vanguard because i was asking about her as how i was confused about her tho. It's now edited she is a Juggernaut.

As for Skarner he is Vanguard champion, no possible way to make him Juggernaut.

They are mainly damage threats with poor utility. They have one CC ability, that's hardly heavy CC.

Thanks for feedback, i Believe they are both of Vanguards mostly due to the Cc chain, Udyr can run around with his E stun everyone and comes back stun them again Volibear can dive, Flips the target and he has a heavy cc from E which can also lead to a long timed fear for minions/monsters While Juggernauts are not made to be like that sort of heavy CC

Volibear + Udyr are definitely Vanguards. But they are very close to juggernauts as well.

Well, first off, the sub-classes are:

Vanguard Warden Diver Juggernaut Slayer Skirmisher

But whatever... Secondly, Cho'Gath, Renekton, Singed, Udyr, Warwick, and Volibear are not Vanguards. Renekton is a Diver, Cho'Gath is closest to a Juggernaut (last time was considered too unique to define), Singed is more of a Warden (he runs way from fights), Udyr is a Juggernaut, Warwick is a Diver, and Volibear is a Juggernaut.

i thought Juggernauts aren't suppose to have CC other than brief slows or some sort of collusion

Darius has a pull and it's quite a good cc sometimes but yes usually Juggernauts aren't the CC machines like the Vanguards.

Diver is optional and it's not a sub-class. All Vanguards can dive. What is the role of Diver? it's when you chase or when you start the fight for your team and that's pretty much the job of all vanguards and some type of Fighters like vi or Olaf or kled.. etc..

You're missing Divers, the single biggest category of melee champions. Lots of the champions you put in the wrong categories belong in the Diver slot.

Thanks for the feedback, i had this argument recently just minutes ago and Diver is not secondary role it's an option 3rd role that works for Tanks + fighters + even assassins, well many of them not all of them. But yes most vanguards have the diving role to start the fight for their party pretty much

Divers aren't a subclass defined as "anyone who dives". It's a very specifically defined subclass that is completely separate from the other classes, and very importantly there are champions who are Divers who aren't even close to being any of the other subclasses. Vi does not have the sustained damage output, sustained mobility, or clutch defensive options required of a Skirmisher. She doesn't have the AoE lockdown options or raw defense of a Vanguard. She doesn't have the raw damage or escapes of an assassin. She is a Diver and purely a Diver.

Jesus Christ man. Educate yourself before you argue with everyone on your thread. Diver IS a subclass.

Riot specifically stated they are a subclass.

In addition to that, Neither skirmishers nor assassins are fighters; they are slayers.

The playstyle difference between divers and wardens Is simply that one engages a fight and attempts to lock down carries, while the other engages (usually not before a tank initiates) to KILL the carries.
