Am I wrong for calling out Riot for rolling back reworks on Leblanc and Kogmaw when they didn't on..

Sejuani Xerath Karma

Their reworks COMPLETELY CHANGED THEIR FUNADMENTAL PLAY. Ruined entire builds, and basically alienated the original player base.

They were just fine. Why do some heroes get reverts EVEN THOUGH THEIR REMAKES WERENT HUGE CHANGES TO THEIR KIT, while others had basically been replaced from existance, are still terribly unpopular, but lost their entire player base in the process?

Sejuani's popularity skyrocketed after her kit update by a massive degree. Before her update I saw her once in a blue moon, soon enough she was incredibly OP and abused every game. I don't know when Xerath was updated unless you're referring to the minor changes in his ult, but he has also been used and abused in high elo play with relative popularity when assassins aren't top dogs. Karma's changes are incredibly slight and hardly worth mentioning, and her lack of popularity stems from the fact that her kit lacks synergy with itself and actually needs a semi-rework.

Xerath used to be a weird champion. His abilities were all shorter range then they are now, but his W used to root him in place, increase the range of his abilities, and give him bonus Magic Pen. His AoE used to be his E, and instead of slowing it was kind of Like Brands stun. Hit an enemy with E first, then hit them with anything else to stun them. His ult wasn't semi-global, Q and ult Both had 900 range without W, 1300 range with it.

Very few people played him and I'm pretty glad about the rework, but I can't imagine being a dedicated main and losing such a kit knowing nothing like it is probably going to exist again.
