Thoughts after 10 games after several weeks/months break.
I Used to play a lot, several games a day every day. Then I stopped. Last 2 days I've decided to try again....
Then I remembered why I stopped playing. lol silly me.
Who wants to have overused internet slanders yelled at you by a couple of squabbling siblings, feeding to piss each other off, then blaming their team?
(duo gang-bang reports?)
aren't games supposed to be fun?
Before you assume, I understand that I'm more likely than not, a player of lesser skill level. I dont always have 100 cs at 10 minutes, or smite-steal every drag/baron. I dont have the best timing, or reflexes, and often I find myself wondering 'wtf do i do now??'
I really haven't played much since season 2/3 when a couple very well worded posts about the ranked system failures (leagues broken bell curve) and grouping system failures revealed how poorly the back end of League works. (It seems to punish success.)
with all the changes to the looks, items, classes (IE the front end) the game is still the same thing. An epic uphill struggle against your opponents, your own team, server side lag, unbalanced classes, over power item/ability combos, etc.
That aside, everyone who is good enough can pull themselves out of the sewers and to a more mature, level headed, player base.
But getting there is a horrid experience.
I still watch LCS, and follow my favorite streamers, not all of which are above Plat 5 mind you. You can watch the way the players behave. Its nothing like the experience one has down here in the lower ranks, and trenches.
However I'll never be able to put up with the garbage one must deal with to get anywhere. I'll do it IRL but not in a game, that is most of the time, anything but fun.
