How to carry a game as adc against a fed top or mid?

As an adc main, even assuming I do well in lane, it feels like fed tops gain early game godmode where they are too tanky for me to kill, yet have burst rivaling a power spiked mid.

Fed mids often remain squishy, yet have gap closers or range + burst for days and one shot me with ease if I even think about dueling.

My teammates that fed the top or mid often just want to give up, despite bot doing well, and it all falls down from there.

Many times I do well in lane, roam mid and get his tower, only for an enemy top or mid to slowly take over the mid and late game. No matter how fed I get, I need a front line in order to attack people. Yet in these cases my front lines are often mentally worn out from bad laning, behind in cs and ready to quit

Any advice dealing with these situations would be greatly appreciated

step 1: stop dueling enemy mids. this alone will raise your win%. step 2: whatever you were about to type, if it does not contain the words "baron" "dragon" "get out" "warded" "peel for me" "gj" or "group", it is useless and you should stop typing it.

Some or most of these steps may seem impossible.

  1. Stop your teammates from feeding.
  2. Ping the feeders away from fed people / roamers.
  3. Focus the team on objectives if you feel you can carry a team fight.
  4. Get their confidence back. Make sure to avoid negativity as much as possible.

Anything is possible if the enemy makes mistakes, people playing like poop will always impede your dreams. Sometimes the smallest polite message or smart play is all it takes to get people playing serious.

if you're afed ADC and the enemy team has a fed top/mid, get your team to group and teamfight, ADCs are the best teamfighters in the game because, the more things there are around to distract the enemy from killing you, and the more targets there are for you to shoot at, the more your DPS matters (basically, the more people there are involved in a fight, the more an adc's presence makes a difference)
