If you've spent five years on playing based off minimap and Teleport, are you a dumbass coward POS?
Five years. Diamond since the very first serious season even if I've been at it since S2. Peaked Diamond 1 and was trying to get Masters this season as usual.
The way I play has always entirely based on the minimap and coordinating plays based on it. Teleport is a natural extension of my existence and I am constantly moving the camera back and forth, bracing to use it. All of this is a skill in and of itself, something people admit to when they claim people in comparatively lower elo lack map awareness and macro.
Ever since Riot announced they are going to remove Teleport it just feels like my world came crashing down and I lost all will to play and haven't queued in three days even as I come to the screen to play and just back out each day. They've completely disregarded the fact there are players like me and just look at the negative aspects of the SS amplified by Unsealed Spellbook than the fact there are consequences and it isn't as fucking easy as it sounds. And it's so sudden too, after at least five years of no consequence they decide they will just remove it.
The ambiguity surrounding the circumstances until 8.5 also makes it feel a whole lot worse.
