I just see them in the same level of girefing when it comes to dealing with each one in lane. If we can deal with irelia we can deal with akali. I think either make the whole game annoying to play or make it sane and get rid of both ?

They all ready nerfed her shroud into oblivion if you are still having trouble with it you just deserve to die honestly.
Tbh ..... Irelia is far more broken than Akali atm. Akali's been nerfed and already had ample counterplay in the form of non target aoes.
Irelia..... once she has a Sterak's..... is just stupid. Before then she has counterplay, but the massive AD boost, shield just make encountering her too long and gives her ample time to set up skill reset after skill reset without ever really having to panic. Even if you can hit 4000 damage in a combo, and have 3400 hp...... she can just face tank all that once she has Sterak's.
Intrinsically, her kit being relatively immobile when she doesn't have a target should balance her, but it doesn't.
I think the only bad thing about akali is her true stealth mechanic, all her dashes and damage is totally fine, because those parts have more counter-play, her stealth is just a non-fun ability. cant react to it, barely a cast time, and gives her energy, i think if they at least made towers see her and TRUE vision see her, like True vision should work, then it would be totally fine. but its iffy.
dont have to revert akali, just remove the true stealth.
