Countering Xin?

How the fuck are we supposed to do that? his ult makes it you MUST be in his melee range, otherwise you deal no damage, and his knock up makes sure you don't win that gap closing of his, so what the hell are we supposed to do?

Xin melee range = 175 Xin Ult range = 450

175 =/= 450

You get inside his ult/outside, and use CC to stop him from hitting for a bit. if his autos are interrupted, his ult will end.

The BEST thing you can do is simply pick champs who can exist while inside his ult.

No, not even close. If your only option is to counterpick, or for the entire team to avoid an opposing champ like it has the plague, then the champ is likely broken. Zed

Nah. The thing is, his ult only makes him immune to DAMAGE from targets outside his circle. You can still Run with Karma's W and snared him, which will eliminate his ult shortly after. You can do that with pretty much any cc on any champ. LB and Kat can't really exist inside. he can kill them. But an Udyr, Karma, most adcs who are good at orbing, Zoe Sleep, Ornn..... There are a ton of ways to cc him so he can't attack you while his ult runs out.

Are you here looking for help with how to beat Xin or are you just here to complain?

Because with the way you are rejecting advice people give you and with the way you twist their words into excuses for you to claim Xin is OP, I'm beginning to think you aren't serious about learning anything useful.

there needs to be a way BESIDES counterpicking.

There is. You use the playstyle/strategy of forcing Xin to using his ultimate defensively, when he is not in a position to take advantage of it to wallop your carries.

Additionally, if he uses it offensively then you disengage from the fight and wait for it to run out before continuing to fight.

There you go, an entire comment that didn't mention counterpicks once and that offered strategic advice for how to counter Xin.
