Couldn't they implement some sort of "ban exemption" stage of champ select (at least for LCS) or would that take too long for everyone else?
Could pick one or 2 champions that can't be banned out. Would also create a new level of mind games for people just looking to counter pick those champions.

they definitely confirmed that both competitive and non competitive play will get the 10 bans, however they said it would come later for competitive than non competitive. so i am guessing a few months after we get it in solo queue its coming to lcs.

it does feel like that, but actually looking it up reveals there are at least 20 viable marksmen if we ignore shit like urgot, teemo, jayce, etc.
