Why not use yasuo's "Focus" for something better?

Yes I hate yasuo but I'm not one to complain about him as I simply avoid playing against the champion all together. This is mainly just a suggestion to see what people think of this sort of idea.

Yasuo can only use critical strikes for a short duration after the activation of Resolve. He'd lose his shield passive and couldn't critically strike normally but instead once he activates resolve with his next auto attack or Q, he gains the double critical strike chance passive or even a flat 100% critical strike chance for a short duration after. This gives him an actual window for people to play around and means he also needs to actually work for his high crit chance.

Also as someone else suggested: Give his windwall a 1 second duration, longer cooldown, smaller size, but give it a charge system. This would make it so that the ability would be used in a more skillfull manner. Rather than simply throwing it up and running around, it'd force yasuo to use it conservatively to block key abilities rather than cutting off all projectiles for the duration of a short fight.

I agree it shoudlnt be so big, instead lets revert that big windwall and return the 20% flow generation.

His double crit and shield are fine, crit is his sustained damage, even without it he can destroy you, his damage comes from being able to apply autoattack effects multiple times in short periods, so attackspeed is your culprit not the crit, without aa speed his crit would be useless because he wouldn't get it off enough, and all of his damage cd's will be high. And the shield is literally a buffer against insta kill because he is one of the most squishy champs in the game, there is only 1 adc who has lower defense stats and hp than him.

The "solution" to everyones problem would be the actual problem, his massive affinity with attackspeed, if riot introduced a 10% or 20% bonus attackspeed reduction everyone would be perfectly fine fighting yasuo. A yasuo player knows the actual strength of his kit, not someone who was unlucky enough to fight a fed yasuo. Any yasuo player worth 1/2 a dollar would agree his attackspeed is a stronger aspect than his windwall or dashes or double crit. Without attackspeed yasuo is pretty much nothing but a melee jhin who moves around fast and has way less crowd control.

level 2 full chance crits would make people mad, and a wind wall for every major spell the enemy has would make people even madder.

So let me get this straight.

At full flow, Yasuo consumes all his flow for a set duration of 100% crit chance.

This would have to apply to his ult as well as his armor pen would have to change a bit.

If the duration was long enough, Yasuo wouldn't have to build crit at all. He would just build item 3031 item 3147 item 3156 item 3153 item 3072 item 3812. He would still be able to crit but it would be fucking insane. He wouldn't need to get a tanky item if he lifesteals off of a full AD crit.

I don't think this was your idea exactly, but building crit does limit his damage output.

Then go with the double crit. He consumes the flow to get double crit. The whole point is that he needs to have proper timing to get his power. ideally he would need to stack it during the fight to get it off at the last minute, like gnar does when he goes into a fight without any rage built up. Or, he needs to have it stacked before hand to get a solid initiation but no matter what it'll be something he can't obtain in a short period of time so his windows of power are brief and far between.

This is what I'm getting at.

I like the double crit passive mainly because of the Lore.

Yasuo is probably the greatest swordsmen of all of league in his own way. Whereas Fiora used precise strikes to kill while Aatrox uses it to steal life. Yasuo on the other hand is able to almost double the damage he deals with sword strikes with his style of swordsmanship.

With that out of the way, do you mind taking a bit of time (if you can) to watch a video that will explain how each part of his kit is essential to not only his lore and design fantasy, but to his other part of a kit. It is very interesting and will explain some things.
