Yasuo Op or not?
So with the changes made for season six I feel that playing an Yasuo is almost a struggle now. I chose to play him mainly because i love samurais and he fits the bill. But with the nerfing that has taken place to all of his major core item builds, its just made it difficult. All of his items were weakened and all of them had a price increase.
Everyone always complains about Yasuo, but he in my opinion is far from op. Have you tried facing Quinn recently? That's op. As a fighter/Assassin Yasuo can only survive if he gets a shit ton of kills early on and him being a late game champion doesn't give him much chance of that. Considering most tanks have become so hard to kill and you have some like Mundo running around almost unkillable, Yasuo hardly has a chance against them. All of the Adc were buffed so badly that assassins, whose role it is to take them out, can't do it anymore. Then you have your cc champions who, like Brand, just need to stun Yasuo and being able to to half Yasuo's health with one hit even early on just makes it a terrible match up.
Yes Yasuo has his windwall, but with a fairly long cooldown time its a one shot deal. That and when you have champions like Syndra who stun you then just spam her kit its difficult because you're silenced and that windwall is useless. On top of that champions easily enough side step it. If you play Syndra, all you have to do is get yasuo separated from the minions and bam he has no dashes or escapes.
I'm not saying Yasuo doesn't have his moments, but for him to be considered op is far from true. Unless you get a lot of kills early on, its difficult.
