Is there anything a Lux can do vs a Kha'Zix besides lose lane?

Rushing Seeker's Armguard doesn't give you a meaningful reduction to his damage because he'll just rush armor penetration. And two hits from Kha'Zix Q at close range = instant kill, even if you have armor.

I take it this is one of those "you got counterpicked" scenarios, but I'd like to know if there ever was an option Lux had to try and survive...

Lux vs. Kha? Can't say I have had that lane matchup in a long time.

If you use Lux's range you should be able to survive the lane phase.

Kha'Zix's Leap says otherwise. If you've already used your spells, he just jumps you and takes off half your health with two hits even if you aren't isolated.

Just wondering, how the crap is he doing this? His E isn't anywhere near a high enough range or low enough cooldown to safely jump in early, his Q does meh damage until he has a lot of AD or you're isolated, and unless he evolves E first he can't even reach you. Worst case scenario, you farm with E.

I expect Lux to win that lane. Some concrete things to do:

He can't do a thing level 1. Right click him mercilessly.
Because you have lane dominance level 1, you get level 2 first and thereby avoid his cheese all-in at level 2.
Your E harass is free, guaranteed damage in this lane. You can easily land it from beyond Kha E range.
Kha'Zix is on a clock in this lane. If you harass him for long enough, he won't be able to all-in. This makes baiting for your jungler quite likely to work so long as you don't make it super obvious.
If you still struggle getting all-inned, consider taking barrier.

And stand near your minions. Not just because it'll prevent his isolation damage, but they'll retaliate damage if he attacks you near them.

You don't have much reason to throw your binding spell out unless he jumps you. It should be easy to land at point blank range and step away. If you're fast you'll shield yourself too before he jumps you.
