How To Allow More Champions Into The Jungle; Expanding The Role
Hello LoL community, last night I had what felt like an epiphany when I realized how to make most champions at least somewhat viable for the Jungler role, especially now that we have 2 Smite charges and the champion smites. Now this by no means makes any more Lee Sins, but rather these changes could open up the Jungle to a plethora of new faces, which leads to far more diversity in games and a less "stale" experience.
Veigar: I can hear you now "WHAT?! VEIGAR JUNGLE? ARE YOU MAD?" Yes, I might be a little mad, but I think Veigar can be made into a solid jungler without increasing or decreasing his current power in lane. The answer is simple, and very much the same answer for most of my ideas, a magical thing called "bonus effects vs monsters". Lots of champions already have bonus effects vs monsters, with the most recent being Nidalee now being able to hunt AND snare monsters for 2 seconds.
Now Veigar would obviously be a blue-buff dependent Jungler, but the changes would be as follows: E stun now affects jungle camps and stuns them for slightly longer at each rank than it would a champion. Q passive grants an extra AP on small jungle minions as well as large ones and does bonus damage vs monsters only. W now also does bonus damage to jungle monsters.
Summary: These changes would leave Veigar's in-lane play completely untouched and open up the Jungler role for him as well. Who wouldn't want to get aided by a jungle gank with that stun?
Twitch: I know of a lot of people who want to see Twitch take to the jungles again, and I don't blame them. The following changes would reopen the Jungler path to Twitch without affecting his laning power.
W grants monsters a chance to miss their attacks for a few seconds, and Twitch AA's deal bonus damage to monsters while the effect persists.
