simple fact: bronze+silver+gold means broken

riot.. there seems to be complaints about matching.. and some efforts on your part to fix it.. but the obvious, and NECCESSARY, is not happening.

There should NEVER be a ranked game with a mix of bronze, silver, and gold. Never. It always come down to where the golds are, and everything else is irrelevant.

The whole 'separate mmr for duo and flex' is a farce, leading to this kind of junk. also, occasionally, duo-ing in duoqueue can lead to this sort of thing as well.

Please put some kind of hard limit in place, so that this cannot happen any more. Take rankings from one queue into account, for the other one, please.

What if the bronzie has silver MMR but is trapped in promo heck while the "gold" was a boosted animal and is throwing games left and right to the point he had silver MMR?

Had a game where Diamond 3 was vs a Gold 5. Poor gold player had 11 deaths in no time. And this was in my promos too bad luck. But that is flex ranked so meh.

I just finished the saddest game of my life... There was an obvious skill difference between our mid lanes and bot lanes... I was against duo top and me and the jarvan were doing a great job of killing the two of them. Then he had to go help the mid and bot lane who were being destroyed, I was getting dove by Trynd and Vi which, as it turns out, is fucking impossible to deal with... Still I was able to hold my own for a while as Yorick. But by 15 minutes bot lane was at our inhib and Mid was gone... Still I was able to roam around the map and stop them from pushing for awhile, but the fed as fuck Vayne was just too much to deal with and eventually I was getting 3 shot killed with no hope of fighting her. Jarvan (who is my duo btw) was trying his hardest to kill the Vayne so I could 1v4 their team (which I had done a couple times, not actually killing them all but most of them or just send them running) but she was getting too fed from our Thresh and Lux just mindlessly running at her...

On smurf accounts I get the occasional bad game, but for the most part I can solo push my way to a win and out of Bronze. With Plats, Gold, Silvers, and Bronze all in the same game its fucking impossible to do anything! Some Gold+ Vayne or Yasuo or some other bs champ gets fed as fuck off the bronzies and steamrolls the game.

Edit: Which was what I was doing to their team but Yorick doesn't compare to Vayne when it comes to carrying a game.

NOOOO.... it's junk like this, that KEEPS people trapped. When you're trying to climb (back) into silver from bronze.. but it doent matter how well you play (relative to the other bronzies) because the whole rest of your team gets stomped by the gold on the other team.

when you are "the only ONE out of FIVE people that doesnt feed"... over.. and ove.. and over...

it feels pointless to keep playing.

in contrast, when its all bronzies.. REAL bronzies, not stupid "I'm riot i like to dump golds in bronze preseason"... then individual improvements actually matter.

you are presuming perfect random distribution. But it is NOT RANDOM. It is highly skewed.

if you dont play on a premade team.. you are more likely to get put up against a team. a team of gold+bronze. so you will lose It's particularly likely in flex right now, where gold people are being misrated as silver, or worse. You can see through various sites that they're really gold. But riot's dumb downgrading of everyone, is allowing them to now duo with bronzes, and screw the other team over that way.

I see no problem there

You've either gotta be good enough to beat gold which isn't even that good or you wont get anywhere.

Better than learning to play from beating your head against bronzodians.

Except it doesnt teach you to play against gold. It just teaches you how to waste 40 minutes of your life watching your team feed. Because you can do awesome against them, then they go back to base.. reappear in another lane, get a free kill, and snowball from there

what it does is keeps you from having about 0 chance of getting anything but braindead people on your team while in the lower elos.

Probably wont help you get out of gold but really I think everything below plat should really just kindof merge together anyways.
