I was just in a game where my abilities wouldn't go off and my fps was lower by 10-20, its normally steady capped at 144. I wouldn't post this in the first place if my team mates didn't say what I was thinking. All of them complained how their abilities didn't activate.
I hope we are only ones because this was frustrating, we just lost the game because of this.
i think its lag spiked but i have felt a simliar feeling to what youre discussing i think it was like 3 or 2 patches ago? try to reset your client because its not always consistent for me
Also something similar happened to me when I was just starting to play the game, it was in a bot game. After we all picked our champion for a good 3 minutes the game wouldn't start and we were all typing in chat and what the hell was going on, then it suddenly started. The game was running in slow-motion for all of us, casting an ability would fail as the game would not let you fire anything it would cast it on top of yourself (I was playing Zilean, I could only Q, E, R myself, even if I waited seconds after moving the indicator the abilities would still only cast on me), and it was happening to all of us, also the all game seemed affected by it, bots too were affected by it and minion would ignore each other and just run straight at the enemy turrets all randomly placed around the lane ( game was going in slow motion, maybe 2 FPS or some shit, the screen woulda update at intervals, minion would teleport randomly in the lane instead of walking through it in a straight line). Turrets started getting destroyed eventually while minion where going into bushes and ignore the enemy one, both minions, enemies and allies, were attacking the same lane turret at the same time. Sadly I was a fucking idiot and I didnt have a recording program and we surrendered that game because even if we were winning, we were winning too slow. Maybe it was something similar? Maybe I got dragged off but I never told anyone about this weird game, definitely stayed and still playing bot games to experience it again.
