Hmmmmm 20 champions?
So now we need to own 20 champions? For some odd reason, I'm unable to play ranked because I don't own 20 champions. I am pretty sure it was 16 [zombie-brand-mindblown]

More bans. They implemented it this way because, on the VERY off chance that people ban 10 champs, then choose the 9 other champs that you own, you'd be left without a champ to use. 20 makes it so you'd have 1 champ left to play--Soraka jungle?
It's because of the new 10 ban system the others already mentioned. On the plus side, you will soon no longer have to waste ip on runes so all of that can go towards more champs [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
Don't forget the new capsule system that means that even after hitting 30 you have to grind out at least 6 weeks of daily games only buying the lowest cost champions.
Or of course you could spend $20 to get the starter bundle... Free to play indeed Riot, free to play indeed.

Its 20 champs b/c now w/ 10 bans if you only had 19 all your options could be taken (yes very unlikely but still): 10 banned out, the other 9 picked by your and enemies team.
Please help, I have the same problem how do I get champs easily
