Alright so... let's talk about turrets...

About a few weeks ago, I was against the idea of buffing turrets.... but I now realize that I was completely wrong.... Turrets are not even a threat unless your going to pull a dive REALLY and I mean REALLY early in the game.

And it isn't even about turrets not defending properly against dives.. A planned/nice played dive should always be rewarded, but let me explain the real problem.

The problem is that turrets are going down really early. Turrets are in such a bad spot.. I--also anyone--can literally push someone out of lane and take their turret to half health within a few seconds... even in the early game..

It is ridiculous how paper-thin turrets are at the moment. Like you better time your "Backs" properly if you don't want your turret going down in the first 8 minutes of the game... and I am not exaggerating lol.

Oh while I am at it, when is Orianna going to get properly nerfed? Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna Orianna

It's kinda fair game, but it does tilt me a bit to have outlaned my opponent the whole time, my turret full hp and theirs half, only for their jungler to get one single successful gank in and down my whole tower while they're level 6...

First I'd like Riot to make turrets symmetrical again. Taking away the bot lane and only the bot lane turret's early protection in order to rigidly enforce the meta is infuriating.

Second the problem with turrets is a problem everywhere else in League. Because everything ramps up over the course of the game, damage death timers etc, it means that you can spend the first ten minutes of the game playing well in lane, maybe you pick up a first blood, maybe you chip away at the enemy turret and you get it down real low. But then when things swing the other way (say your lane opponent solo kills you because they hit a power spike despite being behind, powerspikes often asymmetrical), it's later in the game, and an equal play results in more gain, higher reward for them purely because the game timer is longer at this point. It's proving extremely difficult to make comebacks actually possible, but at the same time not make leads so irrelevant.
