What is ELO hell?

Well, just take a look at my part 20 games--ignore my yasuo games... I played really bad those games and earned the loss. Anyway, ELO hell is literally uncarryable games. I have never experienced ELO hell, this is the first time experiencing it. Just full of trolls, not so much AFKers--there's no REAL AFKers, most of them just troll the game to avoid punishment. Hmm, there's a lot of flamers--I have been a part of the flame or added fire to the flame. Unskilled players? Hmm, not really. From all my games played in plat, I have never experienced such toxicity in league of legends before.

I guess I am getting a bit out of context, but ELO hell is definitely real. Platinum is the nastiest and most toxic ELO I have experienced.

Getting wins don't come easy, but to lose a game, you'll lose that real quick. The past 2 days have been pretty rough, just full of trolls who run it down. I am not sure if tomorrow will be a better day or I am not sure if I'll continue to play for the rest of the season, at least no ranked.

Thoughts? Tips? You experience of ELO hell?

I agree that plat is the most toxic elo. Its an urban legend I can confirm, and I've been in bronze, silver, gold and plat.

Plat is by far the worst.

ELO Hell is a real place where you will be sent at the first act of defiance.
