What support is best to carry/win the game?

I currently use braum because of his ult and shield. Should I switch to blitzcrank or thresh. Both seem good. I prefer tank supports

Blitzcrank is good in low elos. Hell even high elos

I would say Thresh is really good, but only for one specific reason (that I can think of). If you compare him to Leona, if she hits her E then she is forced to jump to the opponent. Without a coordinated adc, she will likely take free damage or die. (I'm not a braum player but I imagine he is similar.) With thresh however, if you land your hook, your adc tends to have a much better reaction, and even if they don't you don't have to jump in. Just my thoughts tho :)

Blitz/Thresh only good if you can land hooks consistently. Nautilus is more forgiving and really annoying for the enemy ADC. Leona is also decent and makes it easy to win lane.

Bard Braum Trundle are my favorites

Here is few tips for you friend:

  1. Supports are usually niche for your team comp, the enemy team comp and your adc that you have.
  2. That being said--CARRYING as a support is trickier. cause it means you dont give jack crap about what i said above.

Here is two support that carries: Blitzcrank Annie Here is two supports that are good all around: Taric Soraka

Reason i said these two are good all around is because: Taric, has a powerful heal he can decently spam late game. Gives a STRONG armor buff BUT shreds A LOT of enemy armor which makes him relevant no matter what comp you are in or against. Buffs your allies and adc quite significantly (baron buff) with also a very reliable cc. (he dies very rarely if played well. which is important in tight games)

Soraka is just a master healer late game and literally make the enemy focus you. Which is what you want. Also, her aoe silence is the arguably best anti assassin tool i know of.

As for the carry: annie becomes very dangerous as the game goes on, because she becomes essentially a second midlaner and you can literaly CARRY your team. Blitz is just the pick potential. You can roam VERY well and win your lane just with good hooks. One hook sometimes is all you need to win

The thing is, most carry "supports" are really just kill lanes and not supports. Remember when LB went bot for a while? ever wonder why morg builds full ap? and blitz =(

Sona. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

in reality, there are a fair amount of supports that can carry bot lane to get the ADC super fed. It's a lot of skill moreso than the champ themselves, and matchups and whatnot.

But if youre looking for consistently relevant supports, look no further than this overused stale turd: Thresh

tresh obviously stupid op champ

Annie, because if your adc is trash, you are now the carry.

Thresh is good, and his plays alone can win losing games, but honestly, if your team is trash, your plays go to waste.

Annie Karma Kennen Lulu Lux Morgana Nidalee Zilean are supports that can sell their support item for an AP item and then carry.

If you want tanky supports, Nautilus has great disruption and is a total pain. Taric is insane vs heavy AD comps.

If you want to "carry" thay typically means you need to output considerable damage. For that I would suggest Annie or Morgana as both have strong cc allowing them to support but still do damage allowing you to "carry"

If you are looking to win lane through your plays but not necessarily "carry" thresh, leona and blitz come to mind. Nautilus is fotm right now so he can work too, though he is likely to fade away if/when riot tries to push him back into the jg.

I've been playing a lot of Velkoz support lately. He has CC on his Q and W, and his passive can chuck for a good amount of health. In the beginning of the game you just really need to stack magic pen on him and his burst will be insane. Then you can decide to make him a full on carry in the mid to late game.

for soloq...probably blitz. he´s just soo easy to snowball with if you know what you´re doing and your opponent isn´t really really good.
