Let's talk about Flex baby let's talk about Queue and me

I don't really understand Flex being a ranked queue type and here is why i think it's current state is a little controversial.

I am playing on EUNE currently so that means that if I am to play Summoner's Rift I have 3 options -Normal Blind -Ranked Flex -Ranked Solo/Duo

With the removal of Normal Draft on EUNE it's playerbase either switched to Blind Pick as a not-so-serious queue option or basically treats Flex as Nromal Draft. Seeing players that are total beginners with their played champion or people that build weird non-meta builds (I've had Bloodthirster Soraka + Attack Speed Braum as teammates today for example) or just don't pay attention at all and feed their lane laughing it away have become commonplace in Flex. I've read something in a Riot post about Flex being a little less serious and a place to try out things you wouldn't do in Solo/Duo if i remember corectly and that's okay.

But if that' sthe case why is it a ranked game mode? Rewarding Flex with a rank makes many players take the game mode seriously and they get locked together with the ones that just don't care too much about the outcome of the games. It is highly controversial to treat Flex as a ranked queue while there is not an acceptable alternative for Normals.

The mix of people that take Flex seriously and who don't creates a high level of frustration in games. I have experienced this many times already as when i had started to play Flex with 2 of my premade friends we took it seriously. The amout of trollls / int-feeders / players that don't know a thing about their champ is noticably higher. Even if i win it doesn't feel as good as a real ranked game.

In Flex both wins and losses taste like regret. Regret that i didn't play Solo-Ranked if i took it seriously. Regret that i didn't play Blind pick if i didn't want to concentrate.

Currently i just can't take it as a serious Ranked queue anymore. I have tried and it's an absolute shitload of frustration. I'll probably just stay with it as a practice ground for Soloqueue it is jus ttoo comical for anything else.

Replacing Blind pick with a playable Normal queue or just simply fixig it so it won't put people with a slower connection/PC into a huge disadvantage or making all chat entries available to see even if you connected later could already make it less toxic.
