Why is it so hard to understand? can deal with him if she builds hp like froggen, then veigar won't be able to kill her a second time can dodge his ulti and heal a portion of damage no comment can dodge primordial burst with his ulti can dodge his ulti AND has a tons of HP late game has x3 veigar range and if played well can never be stuned by veigar same here never had enough?

"but Zeus, what if my champion doesn't have one" if you want to win against veigar and climb in elo you should ALWAYS pick one of them or pick a support who can apply an invulnerability/protection to your team : the savior the troll keeper the man who can place himself in front of you to protect you from danger and block all projectiles the weird one who gives 100 mr to an ally the tears of burst champion mains and soon

honorable mention if you want to outplay him and call yourself Faker: don't forget to take since lcs people started to take it or build

i understand that people rage because they don't want to be forced to buy an item, but picking TahmKench Kayle Zilean isn't that hard

The actual counter-measure I found against Veigar (and Malzahar) is to bring Cleanse spell.

Counter champion is not very practical. Nobody said Veigar has no counter, btw.

If somebody asks for advice to lane against Pantheon, don't just say: Pick Yorick (or X champion).

First the player may not have that champion (and therefore not enough experience);
second is that the playstyle may not fit (there are players who just don't want to play Nasus or Yorick) .
Third, most normal games are blind picks.
Fourth, actually the kit can counter but the plays and the numbers also count too - after a champion has been nerfed he may not be a counter as before - especially in a new player's hand. It comes back to the "counter play" anyway. (Example: Kayle was considered "counter" of Zed and Fizz because her R can negate their R, but she was nerfed to the ground and can still be destroyed by Zed/Fizz unless the player has decent experience with her).

Counter-build is ok in a few cases. But one should not expect a Riven or Zed to build Zhonya (counter Tryndamere?) .

riven and zed can build hexdrinker zed can buy QSS and ulti veigar to dodge his ulti, riven can do the same and her shield brings a very high value especially if low due to maw.

additionaly, veigar has a counter to most champions he doesn't counter: range Zyra Velkoz Ziggs Ezreal Syndra veigar will never NEVER catch those champions. he is slow, his stun won't work and if he flash R they will zhonya.

If you dont know how to bait those champs to get into your face, you shouldnt be using veigar in the first place. and the only danger there( in my opinion) is Zyra, the others i can take no problem, cause its all a matter of baiting their safety cc, once you do that, you get the kills. and most have set area CC, so if you sidestep it as well, it shoudnt be a problem.

If you farm well enough, you should be allowed to build a rabaddons (or whatever you want). When I play against Veigar, I feel like I get punished for doing well "You managed to farm really well/kill me a few times in lane? Too bad I scale off of YOUR AP (in addition to scaling off his own AP), so I ALWAYS WIN!!!".

if you farm well, you should be able to build a rabaddons, but when i play against zed. He ulti me E+Q+BRK+attack press R again and watch me dying . you managed to farm? you're dead because you don't have zhonya

then, i just wanted to say that rabaddon don't give more AP than zhonya, (something like 40 AP) there is 0 reasons to build rabadon first over zhonya, zhonya also gives 50 armor. learn to play really

and Ziggs with rabadon can never get caught by veigar

An item does not justify a broken champion! How many times do we have to go through this? That's like saying an adc should build armor so assassins don't kill them. You're more than welcome to do so, but you're pretty much dead weight if you're building armor on an adc.

item 3026 with this, you have not 1 item, but at least 5. and it doesn't justifiy are you blind? veigar can't even touches long range mages,

I think that people did forget how to play against him since he wasn't played hardly at all since he stun got nerfed.

You HAVE to punish him early or else he will hard carry late.

Veigar's OPness really has nothing to do with his AP farming, or his Ult. It's that his E is a fucking Ultimate ability on a 10ish second cooldown that zones your whole team.

in my last 10 games there was like one time i got hit by his E, the range is small the delay allow you to simply walk over it. so i can't imagine what happen if veigar is against long range mages.

??? What kind of braindead Veigar would throw his ult on a target he KNOWS can dodge it with an untargetability spell? This isn't counterplay This is hoping you're playing against an idiot, which is not how you deal with an overpowered champion ANY Veigar worth a damn will just hold his ult until his target is cc'd or until their defenses are down Not to mention that counterpicking a champion is not counterplay, but I wouldn't expect any Veigar defenders to know their basic terminology anyways

if he deosn't he will get killed by Ekko Fizz Zed Nocturne , anyway Zilean . you see in this video, veigar threw his ulti on shaco who dodged it.
